From one family lot in 1963 to owning and managing more than 1,000 + parking spaces across the U.S. today, the story began when Nicodemus F. Chaves Jr. leased a small downtown lot in Albuquerque, New Mexico. What started as one family’s search for stability quickly evolved into Parking Company of America (PCA) — a pioneering business that would help shape the parking industry nationwide.
Through innovation and hard work, the Chaves brothers expanded operations across major U.S. cities during the 1970s, earning contracts from Beverly Hills to Dallas. Among the early visionaries was Alex Chaves Sr., whose commitment to technology and customer service led to the development of automated parking systems and honor-system pay boxes long before they became industry standards.

That same spirit of innovation continues through the next generation. Building on six decades of experience and family tradition, Carl Chavez — son of Paul Chavez, one of the original ten siblings — and Eric Gonzales, lifelong friends since childhood, founded All American Parking LLC in 2014.
Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, All American Parking carries forward the values of integrity, accountability, and progress. We combine advanced technology, operational expertise, and community-driven service to manage more than 1,000 + parking spaces across Denver and beyond.
